Marni's son, Andrew Gold, died early morning, Friday, June 3, 2011 of heartfailure. Andrew was 59 yrs. old. The singer/songrwriter was multi-awarded for his albums and was known for the theme song "Thank You for Being a Friend" (of TV's Golden Girls).
